Copper Wines & Craft Spirits Welcomes
The Noble Experiment Craft Distillery

About the noble experiment

The Noble Experiment is a small artisanal distillery in Kyalami that prides itself in truly crafting spirits from grain to glass. There is a passion that goes into craft distilling that is every bit as crucial as the botanicals themselves. While craft distilling is an artistic pursuit, it is a celebration of innovation and ingenuity.

They love that they are able to push the industry on taste and style. It is fun, edgy and expands the boundaries of traditional distilling. To stay on top of the game you constantly need to research international trends adding your own unique spin on them, making them truly South African, to represent this beautiful place they call home.

They currently produce several handcrafted gins, their own brand and for other brands for whom they distil for on a contract basis. They are the first Distiller in South Africa to craft and produce a Rhubarb Infused gin for the South African gin connoisseurs and the Elixir of Lion’s Tail recently received a Gold Award from the Michelangelo International Wine and Spirits Awards.

They are also the first Distillery in South Africa to ferment rice and produce a small-batch Vodka from a rice fermentation.

Choose your favourite flavour base and additional top note botanicals to create a truly one-of-a-kind signature craft gin (500ml bottle) using their miniature copper alembic stills.
